Ah! This one's after a long long time!
Over some time I've noticed that people always have opinons.
And what is more, I've noticed people are more eager to tell you their opinions when they feel something's wrong about you. Some almost seem to enjoy telling you that. " Oh.. what? That's dumb man! That's like the most stupid thing anyone's ever done! Blah blah blah.... " And here's the clincher: It's almost always unsolicited!!!
Oh, but you'll hardly ever find anyone telling you about how in their opinion you were right in doing something. Especially when things aren't going your way.
Forgive my rant though. I don't mean to complain. That's just how people are. Can't change that. Guess what I can change is myself. I need to decide how much importance I need to attach to self appointed judges....... But now, now, it's not that easy to change is it??

i dont think its easy to change nething in tht situation easily..
There is a positive to all this though, you (almost) always know who all r fair and who r not..and thts something to rem for ne nxt times, if any..
guess the key is to find ppl who r happy with u, rather than those who appear everytime ur dn..
Yeah I know what you mean. But I also feel the key is to feel nothing at all. To learn not to care about people's opinions, bad or good. And *that* is not the easiest thing to do.
Hey Kunal, nice to see you blogging again! you're right, its easy to judge other people's actions and pass comments on them.
when people are having a bad time, the best thing that we can perhaps do is to simply listen without saying things like ' i know what it feels like..', and encourage them .
Your observations are valid. But honestly dude, wouldn't you want people to point out when and how you're screwing up? I would.
Anyway, good that you're back. Been missing sensible blogs to read of late.
shaunak: Yeah I'd like to know when I'm screwing up. But honestly dude, I'm sure each one of us can make out the difference between constructive criticism and the otherwise. Constructive criticism is always welcome. The rest isn't :) and that's the point.
Was that a hinted reference to something I've said? :)
